San Mateo Dentist Dr. Sheena Phan
San Mateo Dr. Sheena Phan was born in a quiet suburb in Southern California. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, where she also minored in Disability Studies. While at UCB, she took on leadership roles in student-run medical and dental clinics for underprivileged individuals, which shaped her career in the healthcare field. Dr. Phan then attended the prestigious University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she was inducted to the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society and recognized for her commitment to volunteerism locally, nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kelley Nguyen-Au was born and raised in Cupertino. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. While at UC Irvine, she helped start the dental branch of Global Bridges, which helped provide dental services to the underserved community in Honduras and Panama.
Dr Nguyen went on to attend the University of California, San Francisco where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During her time in dental school, she continued to volunteer abroad on missions trips to Vietnam and Mexico.
San Mateo Orthodontist Dr. Kieu
Dr. Kieu was born and raised in Orange County. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then moved to Northern California to complete her dental training at the University of California, San Francisco. Nominated by faculty, Dr. Kieu was awarded the Craig Memorial Scholarship by the Rho Rho Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), National Dental Honor Society, for outstanding scholarship and ethical character.
San Mateo Dentist Dr. Christina Chen
Dr. Christina Chen was born and raised in San Francisco. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Chen then completed a one-year residency at the University of Nevada School of Dental Medicine in Las Vegas where she provided comprehensive dental care for medically complex patients and patients with special needs in a hospital setting.
